Announcing BC’s Newest Political Party: the Vancouver Liberals
The Vancouver Liberals is pleased to announce its formation, and that it has received approval from Elections BC for use of its name.
As a civic electors association, the Vancouver Liberals intends to run a full slate of council, park board, and school board candidates in the October 2026 Vancouver municipal election, and will also contest the race for Mayor.
Kareem Allam, a local civic activist, was instrumental in the formation of the party and has announced his intention to seek the party’s nomination as its candidate for Mayor.
